Flamengo versus Chelsea Club World Cup Accumulator

The Club World Cup is well and truly underway, with the American headline-grabber offering some final tastes of action and excitement as the regular season grinds to an eventual halt.

With the first round of the competition in the books, featuring Bayern Munich's 10-0 demolition of poor Auckland City and some spirited performances from Brazil's representatives in the group, all eyes now swivel to the next wave of fixtures, with action coming thick and fast in the United States.

Tonight, we see England and Brazil represented through the medium of heavyweights Chelsea and Rio de Janeiro's Flamengo, who will lock horns in Philadelphia at 7PM, UK time.

Chelsea opened their CWC campaign with an uninspiring, yet successful, bout with Los Angeles FC, whereas Flamengo disposed of Tunisian hopefuls Esperance in a professional order - both games ended 2-0.

To help you join in on the fun, here is Football Park's accumulator for Flamengo versus Chelsea in the 2025 Club World Cup.

  • Liam Delap 1+ SoT
  • Cole Palmer 3+ Shots
  • Double Chance Chelsea/Draw
  • Over 35.5 Match Tackles

Accumulator priced at 4.33 at Betfred, meaning a £10 stake returns £43.30!

Delap To Build From Strong Start - Liam Delap 1+ SoT @ 1.44

Liam Delap's Chelsea debut was a particular point of intrigue in The Blues' opening victory against LAFC.

Coming off the bench with around 30 minutes to go, the former Ipswich Town striker looked more than lively, making a quick impression with an assist for Chelsea's second goal in their 2-0 victory.

He will be right in line for a start against Flamengo, and his pace, power and direct sense of play will more than likely see him presented with a shot on goal. Whether or not he takes the chance is a different story, but we can see him troubling the keeper on at least one occasion.

Nuisance Palmer To Continue Barrage - Cole Palmer 3+ Shots @ 1.8

Cole Palmer, Chelsea's mercurial star man, was a busy, busy man in Chelsea's opening game.

The Manchester City academy graduate has been one of Chelsea's shining lights since his arrival at Stamford Bridge two years ago, finding the net on 40 occasions from 92 games. The England attacker is something of a volume shooter, having averaged 3.4 shots per game in the Premier League alone, across the 24/25 campaign.

That volume of strikes continued on in The Blues' opening fixture, recording a mighty 6 shots overall.

Flamengo are likely to provide a bit more quality than that of LAFC, but Chelsea should still have too much in their locker for them. With that, Palmer will likely set his sights on goal often enough to make this a decently priced snip.

A Blue Day In America (With Insurance) - Chelsea/Draw Double Chance @ 1.29

Chelsea should have enough in their locker to bypass a spirited Flamengo side.

The Brazilian representatives in this competition have certainly made an impression, particularly with Botafogo's shock win over Champions League winners PSG in the early hours of the morning, and Flamengo are no different.

Against Esperance, though heavily favoured to win anyway, they were professional, well-drilled and kept their opponents at an arm's length throughout the contest.

Chelsea, though less emphatically, did much of the same against their MLS foes in their respective opening match.

In this one, The Blues should have enough about them to dispose of Flamengo suitably efficiently, but the Brazilian side's spirit, led by a beating heart consisting of Chelsea's own cult hero, Jorginho, could have enough guts to spring a surprise on the 2-time Champions League winners.

With that in mind, we think a Double Chance for Chelsea to either Draw or Win presents a decent enough chance at a more-than-fair price.

Fancy either side outright? You can back Chelsea at a price of 2.00 on Betfred, bringing this accumulator up to a 5.5 overall, or you can opt for Flamengo to pull off the shock win at 3.4, bringing the final returns for this acca up to an impressive, if unlikely, 11.00.

Turnovers Galore - Over 35.5 Match Tackles @ 1.36

We expect this game to be one of resilience and spirit on one side, and deflecting away counter-attacks by any means on the other.

This line in particular landed in 4 of Flamengo's last 7 matches, with 2 of the occasions wherein it did not falling short by just one solitary tackle. In Chelsea's case, it landed in their previous game as well against LAFC, with the two sides making a combined 41 tackles between them, with Chelsea making the majority whilst shutting down LA's counter-attacks under roaring, tiring heat.

This accumulator lands at a return of 4.33 with Betfred, meaning a £10 stake returns £43.30!
