Is Tom Fellows Ready For A Premier League Move?
West Brom have had a mixed campaign in the Championship this season and currently sit six points off the play-off positions in eighth place. Baggies fans have seen their side record 18 draws so far—a stat that could explain why they sit outside the top six.
It's been a season full of inconsistency both on and off the pitch, with three different managers and mixed results leaving fans frustrated. However, the performances of 21-year-old Tom Fellows have stood out, with the winger contributing two goals and 13 assists for the Baggies.
One of our own. 🌟

With a number of clubs interested, it won’t come as a surprise to West Brom supporters that their Young Player of the Year has caught the eye of Premier League sides.
Everton are reportedly leading the race for Fellows’ signature, having come close to signing him in the January transfer window. A lack of time was reportedly the reason behind the deal not being completed. However, with time on David Moyes’ side this summer, it’s looking increasingly likely that the transfer will go through for a fee of around £15 million.
Crystal Palace and Southampton are also rumored to be interested in the English winger, but it seems more than likely that he’ll be heading to the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium next season.

Having already made 79 Championship appearances for West Brom, Fellows has clocked over 4,000 minutes of game time—valuable first-team experience for a 21-year-old. The winger has been compared to Dan James and Stewart Downing in terms of playing style, which should suit David Moyes’ system. Fellows has pace, a direct approach, and the ability to deliver accurate crosses into the box.
With Fellows being only 21, Moyes will have a promising young player on his hands with bags of potential—and the opportunity to make the position his own for years to come.

Fellows had a fantastic breakthrough season during the 2023/24 campaign. He played 38 games as a first-team regular in all competitions, netting his first professional goal against Aldershot Town during Albion’s Emirates FA Cup run in January 2024 and helping the Baggies reach the Sky Bet Championship play-offs. Fellows contributed five goals and four assists in his debut season.
An important part of Fellows’ development came when he joined Sky Bet League Two side Crawley Town on deadline day. Following his season-long loan move to Sussex in September 2022, he made 38 appearances and contributed two assists to help the Reds retain their fourth-tier status.
The majority of his career has been spent on the right side of midfield, though he has occasionally been deployed on the left, demonstrating his ability to play on either flank. Adding further squad depth, Fellows’ versatility has also been on display, having been used at left and right full-back on ten occasions.
Fellows has also made two appearances for the England U21s, making his debut for Lee Carsley in September in a 0–0 draw against Northern Ireland.
Our young star! 🤩

Tom Fellows has received his first call-up to the @England Men's U21 squad for their upcoming internationals. 🏴
Huge congratulations, Tom! 👏
So far, Fellows has gained valuable experience at Championship level and appears ready to take on a new challenge in the Premier League. With it looking increasingly unlikely that West Brom will reach the play-offs, Baggies fans should brace themselves for a potential departure as the season draws to a close. Failure to secure promotion would make it even harder to hold onto their young English talent, especially with growing interest from top-flight clubs.
The winger will certainly be one to watch next season—wherever he ends up playing.
