From Chelsea 04/05 to City 18/19: Premier League Best Team's Seasons
Who doesn't love some nostalgia? Today we take a look back through the Premier League archives to the top 10 teams to grace the league since it was formed in 1992.
There have been many brilliant teams over the years and we have made a stab at listing them from 10 to 1, so here goes.

Maybe a rogue call as Jürgen Klopp’s Reds finished 2nd with a tally of 92 points. The Reds lost just two games all campaign in one of the most remarkable title races in recent history.
The Merseyside club were on course for a historic quadruple, having already clinched the EFL Cup and the FA Cup. But, they missed out on the Premier League title by a point to Manchester City, and would then lose the Champions League final to Real Madrid to further compound their misery.
Despite falling just short of a historic quadruple, but still securing a domestic cup double, their style of play thrilled fans worldwide and they are included in this list for that reason.

9. Manchester City – 2021/22
Unsurprisingly, Manchester City had to dig deeper than ever before to hold off their fierce rivals to claim yet another Premier League crown.
While their final points tally of 93 wasn't quite as big as previous years, this was still a team dominant in all aspects of the game. Midfield maestro Kevin de Bruyne led the way in the league as City's top-scorer with 15, with the goal-scoring burden shared across the entire team.
It may not have been City's greatest side but the levels of quality and consistency have to be applauded.

8. Leicester City – 2015/16
What can only be described as a fairy-tale triumph, Leicester City soared to an historic Premier League title against all-odds.
They may not have played the most stylish brand of football the Premier League has ever seen but the Foxes were more than deserving of their historic victory.
Claudio Ranieri’s side finished 10 points clear of runners-up Arsenal and only lost three games all season. The form of N'golo Kanté, Jamie Vardy & Riyad Mahrez was key to their success.

7. Manchester City – 2017/18
Manchester City's 2017-18 Premier League season was record-breaking with Pep Guardiola's side dominating to amass a huge total of 100 points.
They netted 106 times with Sergio Aguero in scintillating form throughout scoring 21 league goals and it was no surprise to see Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Leroy Sane & Raheem Sterling topping the assist charts.

6. Chelsea – 2004/05
In José Mourinho’s first season at Chelsea, the Blues conceded just 15 goals, kept an incredible 25 clean sheets and ended up with 95 points.
There were a number of constant top performers that led the charge to the title ahead of their London neighbours Arsenal in 2nd.
Petr Čech & John Terry were pivotal as Mourinho’s were rock-solid defensively throughout while Frank Lampard & Didier Drogba where crucial in providing goals & assists when needed most.

5. Manchester City 2022/23
Manchester City's run to the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup titles in 2023 was an incredible showing of dominance.
The season was exceptional, in his first season in England, Erling Haaland bagged 52 goals across all competitions, coupled with the dominance of Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne in midfield, Pep Guardiola’s men were unstoppable.
Clinching the treble deservedly etched their place in football history.

4. Liverpool 2019/20
The Reds began the season in top-class form, blowing away their opponents to begin the campaign in the best possible way. 26 wins and one draw in 27 games before Covid-19 hit was an indication that Jürgen Klopp’s men where playing at the top of their game.
The form of attackers Mo Salah & Sadio Mane were a huge catalyst as they began to extend their lead at the top of the table on route to securing the club's 30-year wait for a league title. The Anfield club finished on an incredible 99 points and 18 points ahead of runners-up Manchester City.
A truly impressive season.

3. Manchester United – 2008/09
A stellar season for Sir Alex’s Red Devils finishing with 28 wins, 6 draws, and 4 losses in 38 matches.
It was a title won thanks largely to a solid defensive unit, which managed an unbelievable run of 14 consecutive clean sheets between November and February.

2. Manchester United – 1999/00
Dominant is the best way to describe Manchester United this season, winning the league at a canter by 18 points.
They scored 97 goals with an attack led by the partnership of Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole torturing defensives throughout the season.
Has there ever been a better midfield in England than David Beckham, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs?

1. Arsenal – 2003/04 Invincible! Arsenal's 2003-04 Premier League season was historic, as they went unbeaten, finishing with 26 wins, 12 draws, and 0 losses in 38 matches.
The fact nobody has even come close to repeating the feat since tells you just how remarkable their achievement was.
Thierry Henry, in particular, was unstoppable, but Bergkamp, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg were key to providing multiple chances each week for the Frenchman, while Patrick Vieira and Gilberto Silva provided solid foundations in midfield.
A solid defensive unit anchored by Sol Campbell and Kolo Touré, drove the Gunners success.
