Florian Wirtz finds the back of the net yet again as Liverpool draw 1-1 vs relegation candidates Burnley at Anfield. Liverpool started strong but didn't do enough to get past the promoted side. This is now the fourth draw in a row in the Premier League, something under pressure boss Arne Slot will not want to hear.

This result keeps Liverpool in the top four, just one point above Manchester United after a fantastic derby day win in Michael Carrick's first game in charge in his second stint as Manchester United manager.
The stats told quite a story of two different sides. Liverpool had 31 shots but couldn't convert past an on form Dubravka who produced 10 saves throughout the game.

This fixture has left Liverpool fans very alarmed in the fact that boss Arne Slot is very much under pressure, he needs to start not only picking up consecutive wins, but also playing football that leaves Anfield excited.
The Liverpool fans were heard chanting "attack, attack, attack" which is really incriminating to hear. As a Liverpool fan myself, you know the level of attacking football is bad when Anfield is chanting for the attacks to be sped up! With Xabi Alonso recently relieved of his duties at Real Madrid, Liverpool fans are closely watching the situation at Anfield. If Slot doesn't change things, many think that He may be sacked at the end of the season with ex Liverpool player Xabi Alonso coming in to replace him.
Liverpool have 5 wins and 21 points in their last 17 Premier League games - 1.24 pts/game.

Roy Hodgson averaged 1.25 pts/game as Liverpool manager. #LFC
It is very much a fairy tale story, but the more it gets spoken about and the more that Liverpool keep underperforming, the more that this fairy tale may become a reality.
Dominik Szoboszlai will be the most upset on the Liverpool side after he had a huge moment in the first half where he stepped up on the penalty spot but his effort was too high as it rattled the crossbar. Wirtz scored soon after in the 42nd minute but this penalty was a huge chance missed.
Back before Slot, teams used to come to Anfield and fear what was about to happen. The intensity from both the fans and the players was often too much for the opposition. This really isn't the case anymore. Burnley sensed that they had a chance to get back into the game and they took it. Marcus Edwards found himself a chance inside the box and slotted it home, completely against what was expected. For all Liverpool's domination, the opposition found momentum and scored. This has been the story for the last few months.
Despite a late Liverpool flurry of chances, the Burnley defence stood tall and gained a strong point in their fight to stay up in the Premier League. Wins from both Leeds and West Ham are far from ideal for the away side however as they now find themselves eight points deep into the relegation zone. A result like these needs to be a result to build on if they want to stay in the Premier League.
