The hectic Christmas schedule continues this weekend, with the Premier League once again gracing our TV screens and living rooms.
For a select group of sides, including Chelsea, Man City and Crystal Palace, it represents their sixth game in a matter of three weeks, with Champions League, Conference League and Carabao Cup action interrupting their midweek downtime.
Others, such as in-form Sunderland and Leeds United, will have taken advantage of a full week of rest, each knowing that the storied “December day off” must be used to the max when presented to them.
The contrast of match load and squad fitness will make for some fascinating viewing this weekend - Newcastle host Chelsea in what could be the match of the weekend, Tottenham welcome stumbling title holders Liverpool, and high-flying Aston Villa play at home to a Man United side fresh off the back of a 4-4 draw with Bournemouth on Monday night.
With so much on the line for each and every team, it is only right that you put something in the pot as well. That is why we have built you a carefully researched, high-value, somewhat unlikely acca that has the potential to make your weekend. As such, here is your Premier League longshot acca ahead of the weekend.
This Acca was made using talkSPORT Bet, which has great value odds for any leg you can imagine. With this bet builder, you could claim a massive x3 multiplier on any bet over £5, with a maximum win of £300 on offer. You don’t want to miss it.

Total Odds: 41.28
Sunderland Stalemate: Arguably the most unpredictable match of the gameweek, this one. Separated by just two places and three points, there is little else to split the two outfits. Sunderland come into this one on a wave of confidence, having beaten Newcastle in a fiercely contested Tyne-Wear Derby, while Brighton approach the game with no wins in their last three.
With that being said, the two defeats in their last three games came against Aston Villa and Liverpool - hardly dropping points for free. Both have won two of their last five games, and given that our betting API, which analyses over 100 data points ahead of each and every game, gives this game a 46.7% chance of a draw (higher than either side winning), we don’t see any reason not to back it.
Goals Galore at Elland Road: It seems that after a rather dry start to the season, Leeds United have found their scoring touch. Driven by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has four goals in his last four against Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool, the Whites have seen a consequential uptick in form, picking up five points in their last three games.
Palace, meanwhile, have only failed to score once in their last seven games, which came last time out against Man City, and even then should have got on the scoresheet, hitting the woodwork twice. Our API gives the BTTS leg a healthy 73.3% likelihood - you’d be a fool not to back this leg.
Villa’s Run to Go On: What a run of form Unai Emery’s side are on right now - the Villains have won 15 of their last 17 fixtures in all competitions, and are currently on a run of nine straight wins. They will be looking to make it lucky number 10 against a United side that, despite exhibiting so much quality, also suffers from frequent lapses in concentration.
Their 4-4 draw with Bournemouth on Monday was littered with mistakes, with at least two leading to goals, and despite showing off some serious firepower down the other end, their backline simply isn’t good enough to beat a Villa side in ominous form. Our API gives the home side a 40% chance of victory, higher than the figure for a draw or United victory - back it.
Haaland Hatful: With a further two goals to add to his tally, Haaland now has 26 goals in 26 club games this season in all competitions - he has been simply unstoppable. Talking about Man City as a whole, scoring three goals against Crystal Palace is a tough ask in itself – scoring three against West Ham should prove to be far less challenging.
The Hammers showed some spirit in their last game, a 3-2 defeat against Aston Villa, but their defensive demons still lurk, and it speaks volumes that the Hammers haven’t kept a clean sheet since August. While unlikely, the API gives the Over 3.5 goals leg a 35% likelihood, far higher than any other top-flight game this weekend.
