Could Jacob Ramsey Be On The Move This Summer?
According to reports from Gary Jacob, who Football Park ranks as tier 3 for reliability, Tottenham has had a ₤20 million bid rejected by Aston Villa.
It is thought that the deal would include Giovani Le Celso moving in the opposite direction.
Aston Villa value the player at ₤50 Million. Both players have struggled with injuries, meaning a move could be just what they need to revitalize their careers.

Why the move makes sense for both players
It could be forgiven that some people forget that Lo Celso is still a Tottenham player, given that he has spent most of his time on loan.
He signed for Spurs on a permanent deal from Real Betis in 2020, having impressed on loan in the previous season. It didn’t go according to plan, with the player struggling for form and fitness.
The player only made 25 Premier League appearances in his first two seasons at the club. He then returned to Spain, spending two seasons on loan at Villarreal. The Spanish side decided against making the move permanent. In the 2023/2024 season, he was used mostly as a substitute.
Jacob Ramsey's situation is a bit trickier.
The England u21 international had a great start to life at Villa. Having come through the club's youth academy, he had his breakthrough season in 20/21, making 22 Premier League appearances for the club. He became a regular starter for the Midlands side over the next two seasons, playing a key role in helping them qualify for the Uefa Conference League.
The 23/24 season would prove a difficult one for the midfielder though, as injuries meant he could only watch on for most of the season, with Villa qualifying for the Champions League for the first time since its rebranding in 1992.
Unai Emery may feel the player still has a future at the club, meaning it could prove tough for Tottenham to sign Ramsey.
