An eventful early afternoon went just as expected for Sheffield Wednesday - another home embarrassment in terms of the scoreline as well as other on the pitch shenanigans.
Coventry City put on yet another fiery display in their third five-plus-goal performance in just nine games, taking their overall goal tally to 27.
This victory not only put the Sky Blues provisionally top of the table, but they have now also set a new Championship record.
Coventry have now set the Championship record for the most goals scored after nine games.

Their five goals took them 27, four more than the previous best of 23 goals managed in the opening nine games of a Championship season.
Scorelines of 5-3, 7-1, 5-0, and 4-0 have flown in for Coventry so far, proving there is no lack in entertainment when watching Frank Lampard's side get to work.
Lampard's men have scored 12 goals in the last week alone in the division, and at the time of writing on Saturday, October 4 at 15:55 BST they have netted 12 more than any other side.
If the Sky Blues continue going at the rate of goals and entertainment Lampard is giving the fans, they will hit 138 goals - absolutely obliterating Manchester City's goal record in a Championship campaign of 108.
Just 10 minutes into the fixture and seven minutes after Brandon Thomas-Asante's opener, a dozen Sheffield Wednesday fans stormed onto the pitch to form a peaceful protest.
These Sheffield Wednesday fans have seriously been let down here…

Those lads will get bans now, why aren’t the other Wednesday fans getting behind the protest? #SWFC pic.twitter.com/E0ya2uT1oq
The group of Owls supporters were protesting against owner Dejphon Chansiri after it was announced just days ago that the players nor staff had received their wages for the fifth time in just seven months.
Thankfully play resumed shortly after, but things didn't improve for the hosts, as they conceded a further four goals - as they now drop to 23rd in the table.
Not a wonderful start to the weekend for any Wednesday fan, and it certainly won't be the last their current bleak situation improves.
