
Rangers will play Queen's Park in the Scottish Cup fifth round after Stranraer have been expelled from the competition.
The Blues have been knocked out of the competition after fielding an eligible player in their penalty win over the Spiders.
Stranraer had planned to used Josh Lane, goalkeeper on loan from Hamilton, on the day of the fixture was originally played. But the was rearranged due to a waterlogged pitch and Lane was recalled by Accies in the build-up to the rearranged game.
We can confirm that Hamilton have recalled Josh Lane with immediate effect, meaning he will not be available for tonight’s Scottish Cup tie.

Chris Aitken's side signed 17-year-old goalkeeper Lyndon Tas, on loan from Hearts for the cup tie but as he was not registered on the day of the original fixture, and was not registered as an emergency loan signing they have breached SPFL rule 303 and have therefore been knocked out of the Scottish Cup after an a SFL panel meeting this afternoon.

During the rearranged game, Tas was the hero of the day as he saved Carlo Pignatiello's penalty kick in the shootout, with Lewis Hunter taking the next resulting penalty which won the tie for the home teams.
As a result of the panel, the Spiders have re-entered the competition and will head to Ibrox on the 8th of February on what will be a repeat meeting, nearly one year to the day, of Queen's Park's famous win in last season's competition
