Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has been handed a one-match ban by UEFA, owing to his role in a fracas with Liverpool supporters after a 3-2 loss in the Champions League at Anfield earlier in September.
The 55-year-old was sent off in the aftermath of a row with Liverpool fans after the game, with Simeone at the time claiming that he "had been insulted all game" by the home supporters behind him in the dugout, leading to an altercation between the Argentine and a section of Liverpool fans at the end of the game.
Simeone had to be restrained amidst the chaos and continued to protest as he made his way down the tunnel, before which he had been dismissed by the referee.
His ban will last for one game, meaning he will miss his sides battle with Eintracht Frankfurt this evening, with kick-off at 20:00 GMT.
Atletico Madrid's long-serving manager had blamed his outlandish reaction towards the Liverpool fans on a natural human reaction, whilst claiming that he had been on the receiving end of abuse for the entirety of the game.
As Liverpool skipper Virgil van Dijk headed home a 90+2' winner at the end of a raucous clash between the two heavyweight sides, Simeone turned and made his way to a particular section of home support and got embroiled in a heated row between himself and them.
The Argentine manager, who has been in charge of Atletico since 2011, had to be restrained as he was taken away from the frantic chaos on the sidelines before being sent off by referee Maurizio Marinari.

Now he has learned his fate - a one-game ban that will see him miss tonight's Champions League tie with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Simeone stated that whilst he "could not remember exactly" what had been said to him by the crowd, he took issue with the "insults throughout the whole game" from the home supporters.
"We managers are in a position where we are protagonists/standard bearers, so in the same manner that we fight against racism and insults in stadiums today, we could also fight on behalf of the managers, against the insults we receive throughout the whole game.
"It's not easy to be in the position we are in and receive insults for the whole game. I saw it from far away after the third goal. I saw the third goal go in and I turned, the insults continued, and well, I'm a person."
On the other hand, Liverpool have been handed a fine of 4,000 euros (£3,492) for the throwing of objects involved in the melee.
