Archie Payne is a writer at football park. Having watched his local side Queens Park Rangers his whole life and playing in the lower levels of the English game, he knows a fair bit on the struggles of lower league sides. He likes to write on the biggest stories going on in the EFL most notably because he believes it is the biggest league in the world.

Archie started writing sports stories throughout his youth for his local school newspaper and has led to his passion for sports journalism. He has followed his passion and now writes for Football Park and also runs a social media account for Sheerwater Football clubs youth teams. Soon, he will hold a degree in Journalism in 2026 and aims to share as much as he can of the wonders of the football world.
