We turn our attention to The City Ground , where Nottingham Forest and Arsenal go head-to-head in an intriguing encounter. Though Forest looks a shade of the side that secured European football last season, they tend to give The Gunners a run for their money on home soil.
Arsenal have hardly put a foot wrong in the Premier Leaguethis season , and their commanding status at the top of the table is a credit to the side and their resilience shown over the course of the season. Mikel Arteta will know too well that the job is far from done, and the trip to Forest poses a potential banana skin in their quest for a first league title since 2004.
Arsenal have defeated Forest at The City Ground just once in three attempts since the side returned to the Premier League. Though they cruised to a commanding victory in the reverse fixture, this one is expected to be tighter than what many may expect.
We have put together both value and long-shot bet builders ahead of this fixture, based on sufficient research and data provided by our team of in-house experts. Gunners to Prevail:
Though history has shown that Arsenal has had its struggles here, we think that the quality of the side is too much for Forest to handle this time around. Forest has had a host of defensive issues this season, having managed just three clean sheets in 21 Premier League matches. Having experimented in the goalkeeper department, the home side was quickly made to regret this decision. Recent recruit John Victor produced a disaster class against Aston Villa in his side's defeat, even picking up an injury for his troubles.
Arsenal have shown their attacking quality time and time again in this campaign and it is difficult to see the home side stopping them in their tracks. Our in house tipster has 53.30% confidence in an Arsenal victory.
Fouls and Cards Bet:
Onto the nitty-gritty side of things now, and this fixture has proven to be quite heated on previous occasions. Both teams have received a card in five of the last six meetings between the two. Whilst neither side ranks particularly high for yellow cards received over the course of the season, the stakes are high for both in their respective campaigns and should add to the tension surrounding this fixture.
Eliot Anderson has had his fair share of foul trouble in recent matches. The Englishman has committed at least one foul in his last five Premier League matches, tallying up against three against West Ham (without caution) last time out. Whilst expected to dominate on the possession front, Arsenal has a great ability to punish sides on the transition, and Anderson will be responsible for ensuring that the move does not materialize into goalscoring opportunities for the away side.
Set Piece Again, Ole Ole:
It goes without saying, Arsenal has had its fair share of joy from set-piece situations this season. Three of their four goals came from corners against Portsmouth, making for great viewing, though we expect Forest to put up a bit more defensive resilience compared to the Championship side. Arsenal has tallied at least eight corners in their last four meetings with Forest, so expecting a minimum of eight corners in the game hardly seems like a big ask. Forest will have spells of their own over the course of the game , so keep an eye on the corner tally if you are siding with us for this selection.

Hated, Adored. Not to be Ignored:
Gabriel Martinelli is who we are referring to there, for clarity. The Brazilian made up for strange antics against Liverpool in the perfect way by scoring his first hat trick for the club over the weekend. Martinelli has already scored some crucial goals for Arsenal this season, including a stoppage -time equaliser at the Emirates Stadium against Manchester City. It seems evident that the winger has found his feet in front of goal and is likely to be given the start here after his recent joys.
A Shock On The Cards?
It would be rude to just rule out Forest on home quarters. Form books aside, the home side has proven their worth in the majority of home matches this season, and they were unfortunate to not take anything away from the matchup against Manchester City. If anyone knows how to pull a result out of the bag against the odds, then look no further than Sean Dyche. Forest has a strong record against Arsenal at home, and for that, we are willing to side with a Forest Double Chance bet for Saturday's action.
