Blackburn Rovers Makhtar Gueye is subject of a late move by Aberdeen who are looking for a striker ahead of the 7pm deadline.
The Scottish club are reportedly looking at a loan deal for the forward who hasn't yet started a Championship game for his current club this season.
Blackburn had reported Gueye was not for sale just yesterday, before back-tracking on their stance overnight when Aberdeen showed interest.
This has raised speculation that Rovers have already got a replacement lined up with multiple names being banded about as a possible new striker before the deadline.
🚨 Blackburn Rovers are reportedly in the race to sign FC Lorient striker Sambou Soumano.

They face competition from Widzew Łódź & Celtic.
The 24-year-old could cost £2-5m. A move to Poland now looks uncertain.

The most notable of those names is Sambou Soumano who has been linked with a move for several weeks now, there are still a plethora of other clubs interested though with Polish club Widzew Lodz one of the main players.
