Aberdeen have shown interest in securing a loan deal for Scottish centre back Liam Morrison. The defender currently plays for Queens Park Rangers FC but has previously spent four years playing in Bayern Munich’s youth teams. The defender has also played for Wigan Athletic and Celtic.

The Daily Record reports that Aberdeen Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel has been working on a deal for several weeks. Pfannenstiel has previously mentioned he would like to add more Scottish talent to the squad. This follows the recent signing of Lyall Cameron who was the Scottish Cup Man of the Match on his debut in a 1-0-win vs Raith Rovers yesterday.
Liam, 22, is keen to be a part of Steve Clarke’s World Cup Squad in June and hopes this loan deal will secure him a call up.
