Aberdeen are looking to reach terms with Millwall over the signing of forward Kevin Nisbet, according to Anthony Joseph.
The 28-year-old Scottish striker scored 11 goals in 32 appearances with Aberdeen, in time spent on loan north of the border last season. Manager Jimmy Thelin is keen to bring the forward back to The Dandies before the window closes in Scotland at 11pm tonight (with the English window closing at 7pm instead).
With The Lions preferring the outlets of Josh Coburn, Mihailo Ivanovic and Macualey Langstaff in front of Nisbet so far this season, with the Scotsman playing just 107 minutes from four appearances in all competitions thus far, Aberdeen are looking to secure a return for the man who netted 11 Scottish Premiership goals for the team last season.

Since his arrival in Bermondsey from Hibs ahead of the 23/24 season, Nisbet has struggled to find his feet in Millwall blue, finding his scoring touch on just five occasions from 34 showings, before Aberdeen allowed him to kick into form back in his native Scotland.
There remains a ways to go before a deal can be struck between the two sides, but The Dons are hopeful of securing a return for a player who found success in Aberdeen last season.
