Brighton and Hove Albion are heavily chasing a move for Charlton Athletic's young prospect Micah Mbick this winter, having seen two bids already rejected and with a third set to come, according to David Ornstein.
The 19-year-old striker has spent this season on loan with Colchester United in League Two, where he has impressed with six league goals and two assists with praise drawn for his physical attributes and good hold-up play.
As such and ever the ones for a young talent, Brighton are hot on the heels of parent club Charlton Athletic looking to bring him to the Amex Stadium this winter. The most recent bid from the Seagulls was a package of around £3.5m, but Charlton want to hold onto a striker that they believe could be their forward for many years to come.

Charlton Athletic do not wish to let one of their most exciting young stars leave The Valley, but Brighton have no interest in their feelings on the matter as they ponder over a third bid for young talent Micah Mbick.
The young striker has drawn plenty of praise over the course of the season, one which he has spent on loan with Colchester United, and Fabian Hurzeler's side are looking to bring him down to the South Coast as the latest in their long lineage of young, talented recruits.

The most recent bid coming from the Premier League side was a package of £3.5m featuring a fixed fee of £2.5m, according to transfer specialist David Ornstein, but Charlton turned it down as they believe Mbick could very well be the future of their attack.
The Championship side view him as a player with years to come down at The Valley, who sit 18th in the EFL Championship at the moment under the guidance of Nathan Jones, but it is believed there is a fee that they would deem as acceptable to let go of Mbick.
