Cardiff City pair strike loan moves to Cymru Premier

Cardiff City have agreed two loan moves that will see a pair of academy products head to the Cymru Premier.

Morgan Wigley, 20, will join Barry Town United for a year.

Isaac Jefferies, also 20, has signed for The New Saints FC for the upcoming season.

What Wigley Brings

Soon to turn 21, the Welshman is capable of playing anywhere across the front line, but he does favour a centre-forward berth.

He played four times in last season's Premier League Cup for the Bluebird's youth team, and bagged two goals.

Before that, he also appeared in the Welsh League Cup and the FA Youth Cup.

For his country, he has two goals in seven caps.

An out-and-out striker rather than playing anywhere across the front, Jefferies has also been featuring in the Premier League Cup.

He played in six of Cardiff's matches, bagging two goals and in the Welsh League Cup he grabbed himself a couple of assists.

Last year, he even made his professional debut for the Bluebirds as he came off the bench with 12 minutes left to play against Southampton in the EFL Cup, a 3-5 defeat.

He has represented Wales once for the under-18s and again for the under-19s.
