Ipswich Town have ended a 16-year wait to taste East Anglian Derby success by beating Norwich 3-1 at Sunday lunchtime.
The last time they did win was 19th April 2009, with the Canaries having a 20-year-old Ryan Bertrand at the back - before he won the Champions League with Chelsea - and the Tractor Boys' midfield included an on-loan Giovanni Dos Santos.
Today, Cedric Kipre gave them the lead in front of the main stand in the 32nd minute, as an in-swinging corner was knocked down by the head of Dara O'Shea, for his fellow defender to thump into the net.

Norwich pulled themselves level just three minutes later through another corner, which this time was cleared out to the edge of the box where Oscar Shwartau lurked, volleying past Alex Palmer via a cruel deflection.

The lead was restored for the hosts on the stroke of half-time, as Jayden Philogene picked up the ball some 40 yards from goal and made his way forward, before unleashing a menacing effort from 25 yards that flew into the top corner.

Marcelino Nunez - the man who was at the centre of attention all week having swapped yellow for blue only a matter of weeks ago - came on in the 75th minute to an almighty roar from the home crowd.
It was the Chilean midfielder that helped set up Ipswich's third goal, playing Ivan Azon through on goal for him to hit the post, but the ball kindly rebounded for Jack Clarke to poke home and seal victory.
