Peterborough United in Talks Over Ipswich Town Defender

Peterborough United are in talks with Ipswich Town defender Elkan Baggott over a late deadline day move.

If the move is to go through, the Indonesian will move to The Posh on a loan deal, with Ipswich still viewing him as a long term player for the first team.

Move in Jeopardy

Despite the talks being ongoing, Baggott may find himself still at Ipswich Town come the 7pm deadline.

This comes as Luke Wolfenden is currently very close to finalising a £4m deal to become a Coventry player. The centre back is reportedly heading to Coventry to complete his medical.

This would likely see Baggott stay at the club, taking Wolfenden's place in the first team squad, and becoming an important part of Kieran McKenna's squad this season.
