Reading are in pole position to land the signature of 32 year old Gambian striker Lamin Colley, as per David Mason.
Reading are pushing to secure the signatures of Puskas Academy striker Lamin Colley. The 6ft 5 Gambian has already score 4 goals this season and would be a shroud pick up for the royals#readingfc #efl #deadlineday pic.twitter.com/m69tta9nit

Standing tall at 6'5'', Lamin Colley is somewhat of an anomaly in the striker position owing to his height. Playing for Hungarian outlet Puskás Akadémia, Colley has netted 25 times in 97 appearances, also grabbing 16 assists. Colley is no stranger to the English Football either, with the player spending 4 seasons in the National league from the beginning of 2014 to the end of 2017 for Bradford Park Avenue, Boston United, and Stockport County.
Lamin Colley has started the season brightly for Puskás Akadémia, scoring 4 goals in 4 matches across the Hungarian top flight and Europa Conference League Qualifiers.
Sitting 17th in League One after 6 games, Reading have reshaped their squad with 7 new signings - including Man City prospect Finley Burns on loan and the signing of free agent and veteran winger Matt Ritchie.

We are delighted to confirm the signing of Matt Ritchie, who joins us as a free agent following the termination of his contract with Portsmouth.
With the three strikers in The Royals' squad yet to make an impact, adding the experienced Colley could provide the cutting edge the attack is missing.
