EFL Championship, League One & League Two Predictions

EFL expert Gab Sutton has again linked up with us here at Football Park, and this time he’s given us his best predictions for this weekend’s EFL fixtures.

Who’s he picked for sure, and who has selected with outside odds?

Whether you’re building a naughty ACCA for the weekend, or just interested to see what a man who knows the EFL like the back of his hand is thinking, we’ve got his tips laid out here.

Championship Predictions

Norwich City to beat Hull City - 10/11

Level on points and in similar form, but Gab reckons the Canaries will maul the Tigers when they visit Carrow Road.

Sheffield United to beat Luton Town - 9/10

Sheffield United are incredible, I can’t see a single team beating them. Apparently, Neither can Gab, and the Blades will continue their unbeaten campaign.

West Bromwich Albion to beat Millwall - 20/21

This seems a given, West Brom have been unreal so far this season. Josh Maja’s goals will be key against an average Millwall side.

Championship ACCA?

Combining all three selections from the Championship would earn you great 6/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return a huge £70 should it land.

League One Predictions

Bolton Wanderers to beat Shrewsbury Town - 1/3

Bolton have won their last three, while Shrewsbury haven’t won in five. I’d be very surprised if the Wanderers don’t walk away with all three points.

Birmingham City to beat Charlton Athletic - 7/10

No one can stop Birmingham. Wrexham couldn’t, and there’s no chance Charlton do it this weekend. Jay Stansfield and Alfie May will capitalise on any chances they’re given.

Wycombe Wanderers to win over Crawley Town - 52/100

Wycombe have been in excellent form. Crawley, not so much. The Reds need time to adjust with Rob Elliot taking the helm.

League One ACCA

Combining all three selections from League One would earn you decent 2/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return £30 should it land.

League Two Predictions

Barrow to beat Cheltenham - 13/20

Barrow had an unbelievable start to the campaign, but have fizzled out in recent weeks. Cheltenham is an excellent opportunity for them to return to winning ways.

MK Dons to beat Tranmere Rovers - 5/8

MK Dons have arguably the best squad, and maybe now the best manager, in League Two. They’ll be fine against a Tranmere side who haven’t won in four.

Notts County to beat Port Vale - 13/10

It’s a huge clash towards the top of the League Two table, and Gab thinks Notts County look better value for money. Jodi Jones will be key, and Notts County’s quality will prevail.

League Two ACCA

Combining all three selections from League Two would earn you huge 5/1 odds, meaning a £10 stake would return a hefty £60 should it land.

Gab Sutton's Outside Shouts

Oxford United to beat Portsmouth - 19/10

With Oxford flying in the Championship, and Portsmouth off the back of a very heavy defeat to Stoke City, they’ve got a great chance against Pompey.

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Coventry - 13/5

Sheffield Wednesday did very well to defeat West Brom, and Mark Robins’ side has been underperforming so far this campaign. I think Gab’s spot on here.
