Who is the most likely to win the Euro 2024 Player of the Tournament?

Lamine Yamal - Spain - 7/4

Barcelona wonderkid Yamal, despite only being 17 years old, is the Ladbrokes favourite to win the best player of the tournament award. At some sensational odds of 7/4, the Spanish winger has been remarkable this summer.

Yamal has played every single game for Spain so far at the tournament, whilst providing three assists (the most in the entire competition) and scoring an absolute belter of a goal against France to win the semi-final for his nation.

For someone who is a literal boy, he barely lacks confidence either. In fact, his 16 total attempts on goal made at Euro 2024 so far is more than the likes of Antoinne Greizmann, Cody Gakpo, Phil Foden, Marcus Thuram, Romerlu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata.

Rodri - Spain - 3/1

Second on the Ladbrokes list is Manchester Cityā€™s star midfielder Rodri. The Spaniard has had a remarkable season so far, and is currently tipped to win the Ballon dā€™or for 2024.

In Germany this summer, heā€™s been an absolute diamond for Spain. Thereā€™s a ready nation that has been able to shrug off Croatia, Italy, Germany and France like itā€™s nothing, and that reason is Rodri.

Aside from his superb ability to socal up pressure, read the game, play a remarkable pass and even contribute a goal himself, Rodri is a sublime leader for his nation and could be well on his way for another trophy this season.

Dani Olmo - Spain - 6/1

If Olmoā€™s outrageous goal against Brazil in the leadup to this tournament wasnā€™t enough to convince you that he was about to have a sensational tournament, then Iā€™m really not sure what will.

Olmo is perhaps one of the most underrated players in the world right now, especially when it comes to finding the back of the net. Quite remarkably, Olmo is currently winning the tournament Golden Boot race with three goals to his name. Yes, heā€™s tied with a handful of other players, but considering it was uncertain whether Olmo would even start at this tournament, heā€™s been brilliant.

Olmo also has two assists in Germany, which means he has provided the most goals (5) out of any player in the competition this year. Dispute the odds, do not write Olmo off to take this award home.

Fabian Ruiz - Spain - 7/1

Spain have played by far the most exciting and entertaining football this summer, and therefore take up another spot on this list. This time, we crossover to yet another surprise inclusion, in PSGā€™s midfielder Fabian Ruiz.

Ruiz, like his teammates this summer, has been key in his nation's success so far. The 28-year-old has scored two and assisted two at Euro 2024. He acts as the perfect addition to Spainā€™s attack whilst on the press, and has a great ability to find the back of the net. If thereā€™s one player England shouldnā€™t underestimate in the final, itā€™s Dani Olmo.

Jude Bellingham - England - 7/1

Finally, an Englishman. Jude Bellingham has been far Englandā€™s best player throughout this tournament, as the Three Lions scrape themselves through to a back-to-back European Championship final.

Bellingham popped up in Englandā€™s opening game against Serbia with a match-winning header. Later on, in the round of 16 with his nation 1-0 down to Slovakia in the 95th minute, he scored a bicycle kick to save Gareth Southgateā€™s skin. At just 21 years of age, Bellingham is arguably the best player on the planet.

The way he oozes confidence and conducts any game heā€™s in, makes him a fan favourite amongst England fans very easily. Alongside the UEFA Champions League, La Liga and Spanish League Cup heā€™s already won this season, Bellinghamā€™s performance in the final could be the icing on the cake for a very special season.
