Which Football Club Does Robbie Williams Support?
Despite the busy schedule, constant tours and other commitments in the US, singer Robbie Williams has never not loved the beautiful game. The 51-year-old lives in the US but often flies back to the UK to partake in Soccer Aid each year for charity.
He loves football, and there is one team that he holds dearest above all, Port Vale. Williams grew up in Stoke-on-Trent, so Port Vale has always had a place in his heart. He invested rather heavily into the Valiants, purchasing a bulk of shares back in February 2006 for around £250,000.
He was even named club president of his beloved Vale on February 3, 2024. Celebrities have extremely busy schedules, but some do have time for sport, and on that note, here are five other singers who are big fans of football clubs.

Rapper AJ Tracey loves his football whenever he receives a breath of fresh air away from his commitments. The 28-year-old is a huge fan of Tottenham Hotspur and he is very committed to the Lilywhites, displayed by his tattoo on his arm of the Tottenham cockerel.
Rod Stewart is a massive fan of the green and white side of Glasgow. The massive Celtic fan was seen back in 2012 in tears after the Hoops defeated Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona.
It was back in 1973 where his love for Celtic stemmed from. A visit to their training ground while preparing for a gig in the city, meeting legends like Jock Stein and others. His dad was a Rangers fan before Rod began the u-turn, with the Stewart family now supporting the Hoops.
Much like Williams’ deep-rooted ties to supporting his hometown club, Sheeran adores his childhood club Ipswich Town. The singer-songwriter holds a stake in the club and even had his tour as the front-of-shirt sponsor during Ipswich’s 2024/25 Premier League season.
He is very passionate about the Tractor Boys, and is “immensely proud” to be born and bred in Suffolk. Furthermore, Sheeran even has his own shirt number at the East-Anglian outfit. No surprise, it was of course the best-seller too from the four years starting in the 2021/22 season, and with the Tractor Boys back in the second tier, his number 17 shirt is sure to make even more revenue throughout the 2025/26 season.

Snoop Dogg has become the latest celebrity to join the Welsh football club scene, as he recently became the co-owner of Swansea City. He is very proud to a part of the Swans, stating his reason for the choice was “This is a proud working-class city, and club. An underdog that always bites back, just like me."
And lastly, we end with none other than Elton John. The three-time Grammy award winner is also a lifetime Watford fan. He has had a long-storied stay with his beloved club.
John purchased the club back in 1976, before selling the Hornets in 1987, buying them back 10 years on, then had his fairytale dream come to an end, as he stepped down as chairman in 2002. Throughout his time as owner, Watford flew up through the divisions, getting promoted three times to reach the top-flight. They then went on to achieve their highest-ever league finish in second in 1983, before going on to reach their first FA Cup Final in a year later, whilst also making their only adventure into Europe the same season.
A very special episode of the pod with THE @eltonofficial talking all things “Watford Forever”. From his time as owner of @WatfordFC, taking the club from 92nd in the league to the FA Cup final, to some of his favourite memories with Graham Taylor. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/WMgQLuHYuO
